How
to Join the NRLN
The NRLN is dedicated to pursuing Federal legislation to preserve
Pension and Healthcare benefits, Social Security and Medicare for all
retirees. Our staff of three lawyers/lobbyists is based in Washington,
D.C. We serve some two dozen associations nation wide and more than 2
million retirees.
We collaborate with the AARP, labor unions and other national
organizations that address retirees' interests in many ways.
If you are an individual, either retired or not yet
retired, who believes in the objectives of
the NRLN, we welcome you as a contributing member to the NRLN. To
mail in a check, just fill
out the printer friendly
Individual Membership Form by clicking here.
Your contribution of
$25, $50, $75 or more per year will
assist us in pursuing legislation in Congress. We also encourage you
consider taking an active role in our efforts by becoming a Grass Roots
member. The only requirement is that you have an active email account
and are willing to take a few minutes to forward a message to your
Congress person. Just indicate your interest on the Member application
form.
If you are a member of an organized retiree group, with a
governing Board, Officers and dues
structure, you are welcome to fill in the
Member Association application form. Our current group dues are
simple.
Our Annual Dues are currently $3.00 per paid member and are paid
annually by the Associations. Dues for a startup fledging association
is set based on the group’s affordability for a period of time
determined by the NRLN Board.
If a small
group is looking for help in getting organized and become a part of the NRLN, rest easy – we’ll help you get organized. Join
the NRLN and get the help you need to grow your group, fundraising
methods, organizational skills, email lists and learn to employ the best
strategies to win.
What is important is for retirees and pre-retirees to
work together to preserve the benefits you earned. We believe the
NRLN is the only National Group that is dedicated solely to preserve
those benefits. A copy of the NRLN Bylaws is available by
sending a request.
The
information you provide to the NRLN will not be sold or shared with
anyone other than Officers and Staff of the NRLN Organization.
Should you choose to become active in the affairs of current and future
retirees, we welcome your financial support and your input. Please
