Neil West, NRLN Mountain West Region Vice President and President, NRLN Utah Chapter, talks about the importance of informing members of Congress about retirees’ concerns.



Jay Kuhnie, President, National Chrysler Retirement Organization (NCRO), suggests it is a large part of retirees’ responsibility to understand what is going on with their pension and health care benefits and be active in contacting Senators and Representatives to ensure that laws are there to protect pensions and benefits.



Joe Dombrowski, President, Lucent Retirees Organization (LRO) and Member of the NRLN Executive Committee, says he is in Washington, D.C. to talk with members of Congress and the Department of Labor to protect, preserve and guarantee that pensions retirees are receiving will not be interrupted.



Cindy Hadsell, NWB/US West/Qwest Legislative Director, notes she has become involved with NWB/US West/Qwest and NRLN because she is concerned about the future of benefits for retirees. She adds Washington, D.C. is a wonderful place to put concerns of retirees into actions.

Judy Stenberg, NRLN Vice President – Legislative Affairs and President, Association of US West Retirees (AUSWR) Washington/Oregon, says she is in Washington, D.C. to talk to members of Congress again about retirees’ pensions and benefits.



Chris Dyrda, Board Member of the NRLN and National Chrysler Retirement Organization (NCRO), says he learned a lot from the Chrysler bankruptcy on how vulnerable pensions and benefits are.



Deb Morrissett, Board Member of National Chrysler Retirement Organization (NCRO) and Member of NRLN Legislative and Grassroots Committees, explains she is in Washington, D.C. to spend time working on preserving pensions and benefits



Ken Gornall, NRLN Arizona Chapter Legislative Director, points out he is in Washington, D.C. to discuss pension plan de-risking and other important issues.



Mary Ann Neuman, Retiring Chairperson of the NWB/US West/Qwest retirees organization, says she has been coming to Washington, D.C. for many years with the NRLN to visit with members of Congress. She notes the more we come the more they know who we are and it is a pleasure to speak with them about the issues important to retirees.
